Refund and cancellation policy

Renewals and cancelling

One-time memberships are a single payment for a fixed period (1 month or 1 year). They don’t renew by themselves: when the period ends, levels past the free ones lock again until you choose to pay.

Either plan can also auto-renew, but only if you turn that on. Monthly auto-renew charges the monthly price every month, and yearly auto-renew charges the yearly price once a year, through UPI Autopay or your card. Your bank or UPI app tells you before each charge. You can turn auto-renew off on the Grown-ups page at any time (or by emailing us). Nothing more is charged after that, and your children keep access until the month or year you’ve paid for ends.

7-day refunds

If you are not happy, email us within 7 days of paying, from the email address on your account, and we will refund the full amount. After 7 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it or when we could not provide the service.

Double payments and failed payments

If you were charged twice, or money left your account but your membership did not start, email us with the date and amount. We will either start your membership or refund the payment.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the same card, UPI or bank account you paid with, through Razorpay. They are started within 5 working days of approval and usually reach you within 5–7 working days after that, depending on your bank. Your membership ends when the refund is made. Refunding an auto-renew payment takes back the month or year it paid for and also turns auto-renew off.
